  4. Dear Holly ,thanx for your comment.
The only person that can tell us the truth is Dick Glass, but he is dead . The sentence "Eloquent" apears only inside the gatefold cover of the first lp on Capitol and on the label at the second lp on moonwatcher. For that reason at the description I had add the titles of the records as I believe are correct. Anyway "ELEPHANT" or "THE ELEPHANT" or "ELOQUENT ELEPHANT" IS JUST THE SAME GROUP

  5. According to the forum link, Mr. Glass was a Scientologist (at least for a time) & performed as the Eloquent Elephant when performing for other Scientologists ... very odd. His whole story is quite something! :-)

  10. Music Folk is more than sound, and more than a style of living: it contais the mistery of life, the tenuous and deep things from the spirit, the soul...
"Rockin-Hood" is a wonderful Magic Blog. And I thak you so much for your existence.
Thanks for sounds like Dayle Stanley,Doreen Kostynuik and Axe. Dayle's and Doreen's voices both are pure, limpid...sweet and bitter at the same time - but full of feelings...Marvelous!(I'm a folk music lover!)
Axe is Axe -( I've heard their sound yet ) among the "greatest", Axe is The Great!
Thanks so much! Long live to this Magic Blog!
(Sorry to post this here, but I want you to read this words)

  12. Hello,
My name is Nancy and I'm in the process of doing research on this Dick Glass as I'm writing a book on his life and his career. I knew him for over 10 years before he died. From what I can see here, I have all of the music he released and have spoken to several folks who he crossed paths with throughout his career. I would love to talk to more... on or off the record.
    Please contact me at: mightyncy@gmail.com.
Also, there is a profile page on Facebook I posted for him under DICK GLASS.
    :)
